With its dialect and striking modern icons such as the Angel of the North, the north east has been described as England's most distinctive region. I have been to Disney World before and had a marvelous experience at many of the locations the author refers to as "overrated" or restaurants the author(s) deem uneatable. The description does not tell you that they're made of cardboard with paper patterns pasted on - they wouldn't be at all good for small children who might try to put them in their mouths, and I don't think they'd hold up to much rough play.
